After about a month and a half of planning and development, I'm delighted to launch my new and improved website.
Truth be told, it was getting embarrassing! My old website, which was created in about 2002 but looked very 1990's, was last updated about 5 years ago. I hadn't added content, or changed the look, in far too long.
Why is it that working on your own stuff is always the hardest? Like the carpenter whose own house is in disrepair, I let this go waaaaay too long, all the while working on other peoples' projects and ensuring their communications materials were up-to-date, relevant and contemporary.
Well, I'm happy to finally be able to say my site is all of those things. Nothing fancy, but it's looking pretty 2017 and should give you an idea of what I have been doing recently, and what I would like to do next. In addition to an updated portfolio section, this new version of my site has a few new features. I've added Case Studies, where I will describe some of the more complex projects we've worked on. I've also added a section called Writing, where I hope to post both published and in-progress work. And I have added a Blog... which I have to admit is a bit daunting, but I promise to try to keep it as relevant and insightful as I can!
This first post would not be complete without a GIANT kudos and thank you to Matt Hornsby, who built the site from scratch based on an evolving and often vague creative direction and a lot of trial, error and indecisiveness. Oh, and I forgot to mention at an exceptionally competitive price. So, all that to say that if you want a new website, Matt has my highest recommendation. Check him out at Matt Hornsby Production Graphics.
And thanks for visiting!
